looking to listen to GR research speakers
« on: 25 Feb 2022, 06:58 am »
Hi, I'm Paul, I live in Ontario California and I just started ordering from GR research. I ordered an update kit for my Klipsh center channel speaker.  I also ordered their twin subwoofer build kit.  So far I haven't received any of my orders yet due to supply chain issues. They told me upfront they were out of stock on some of the components. THey seem like great people.  I looking to order some their top of the line speakers but I would really like to listen to them first.  If someone would allow me to listen to their system I would be very great full.  I'm in the Los Angeles area, specifically Ontario 30 miles east of LA.

Well, Houston is a bit of a drive, but you're welcome to stop by and take a listen.   And welcome.    :thumb:

Thanks for the offer. What speakers are you running and how do you like them?

Paul

I'm currently running X-Static and X-Voce, both with Skiing Ninja crossovers, in my front channel along with a pair of GR Research Double Trouble subwoofers.   For surrounds, I have the GR Research X-on Wall (formerly A/V-1RS).   The system is rounded out with four in-ceiling Bowers & Wilkins CCM 684 for ATMOS and an SVS PB-2000 Pro at the back of the theater.   I have a Marantz SR-8015 with a pair of Odyssey Kismet amps (front channel - one mono for Center, one stereo for L/R).

And I love it.    :thumb:
