My new .7 came in today and are in ready for surround duty!
It's a rather shame that .7 are running in surround - they used to be
 my main speakers, then I upgraded to 1.7i. So I don't know what else to do with them.
Next upgrade: to mount MMG-W to the beams on the ceiling for Atmos/DTS:X.
So, I'm running:

1.7i - Front (upgrade to 20.7)

CC5 - Center (upgrade to CCR)

.7 - Surround

MMG-W (height speakers)

Adam A7X (you've likely never heard of them, they are near-field studio monitors,) - Rear

SVS PC-4000 x2 - Front Subwoofers

Earthquake MKV 15 - Rear Subwoofer

Sony BioTracer 555ES to Rega Fono III - Analog path

Emotiva Pre-proc with a 4k Fire Stick - Digital path

Bob Carver's Sunfire TGA-7401 (800 watts x7 @ 4ohms Class A/B) - amplification

I confess I'm a little confused. Your old main speakers were .7s, and you repurposed them for surround, and then you got some more for more surround?

I sent my .7 in for service back in September.

IN the meantime, I bought 1.7i.

I just got the .7 back a week ago; I didn't know what else to do with them, so they are performing surround duties.

Eventually.

I was going to go with 3.7i and end it there...but my dealer recommended that I go with 20.7 because of their push-pull design and other benefits.
