LTA Z40 integrated amplifier-mint SOLD
« on: 21 Feb 2022, 12:27 am »

Z40  bought directly from Linear Tube Audio in May 2021
Unit has Level 2 MM/MC Phono (with Lundahl SUT’s) Preamp and NOS Mullard XF2 EL34 output tubes.  Unit has really wonderful full sound and looks beautiful with no marks whatsoever. I had hoped it would be a “fit” for my room and system but is way more power than I require for my   listening levels. I got this in the last 2 weeks from the original owner as I wanted to try this in my system but my wife does not care of the look in our living room hence the sale.

Here is a review link:

Price is $5500 + shipping/PayPal fees        msrp:  $9750.

this unit was purchased before LTA's so called 'PLUS' parts upgrade, correct?  or has the upgrade been done to this unit?

I heard a version in September 2021 at LTA, and it is a captivating amp. I do not think it was the plus version, because Nicholas mentioned an upgrade in the works. I can only imagine what an improved version might sound like. This is an excellent deal, and if I weren't trying to develop a solid state system I would be jumping on it. Good luck with the sale!  :thumb:
