Do you had replace the 12'' woofer steel basket by a an aluminum basket?

I didn't plan to replace the woofers just yet. I think I'm going coat the basket in thin dampening material.

I did get Danny's xover kit for the Fortes. I finished installing them last week and I have brand new speakers.
