I'm using this post as a "starting block", apparently, since I can't do a search on where I need to post until I've made this posting, plus 3 others. Basically, I have two pair of B&W CDM 1NT speakers, and will be upgrading one pair with the GR-Research kit. What I'm hoping to accomplish is that the upgrade will make the pair good enough so that I won't be tempted to buy a pair of B&W 805 speakers (any generation). Is this an unrealistic expectation? I'm wondering what other people have discovered when upgrading their CDM-1NT speakers?
