Hi! Long-time lurker and audiophile but just now getting more active in the forums.
Interested in home and car audio. Have had fun with headphones now more into 2.1 systems, especially open baffle

Hope to keep learning and always on the infinite pursuit of "better" quality.

  • To whom more was given more will be required.
    • Never go to a psychiatrist, adopt a straycat or dog. On the street they live only two years average.

In the 1990s I have read a enlightening article in a US audio magazine saying among other things that next speaker is always better than the previous one, this opened my eyes to the farce of the commercial home Hi-Fi market, from there it was a matter of months to find out what the crossovers real do to the music signal and the full range drivers, so I was free from the merry-go-round carrousel to say few.

Thanks! You have a pretty good point there. I believe most of us know how much marketing influences us. Still, as a hobby, one cannot get enough of it and it is always interesting to keep experimenting.
