Hello from Chicagoland!

New member and first time poster here. 

I'm looking to migrate to this site as some of the other sites I visit aren't the best fit for me.  Why?  I do have a tinkerer's itch.  I have been known to build stuff.  I also like trying out new things.  Getting help and helping others is important to me.  The decorum and information here is awesome!

Thanks Phil!  What a great site.  I've been aware of it, but I'm doing a deeper dive now.  Loving what I'm reading.
