I've owned Ascend Acoustics for over 20 years (CBM-170's) and still love them. Using them as front left/right speakers in my A/V system. And just bought the matching center channel. Finishes have gotten better over the years. Very musical. Salk lives near me, but have never bought. His early show presentations were in small rooms and the drivers never jelled. Heard an upscale model in a big room later that sounded marvelous and modern pair a year ago in a living room that also sounded good, but not exactly my cup of tea.
