SP 1.7 randomly resetting

Hi,

I guess this is a question for James. I had my 1.7 in use most of the day today and in the evening it started to reset the DSP at random intervals of about 5min. It came right back after displaying the DSP version etc. but I suppose you should be able to have the unit powered up 24 by 7.

The 1.7 sits at the top of my audio shelf so there is plenty of ventilation.

What do you suggest I do?

I turned it back on this morning and so far it is fine. I will let it run for the day and see if this comes back.

Ups,

it just reset itself again, so this now seems an established pattern after a couple of hours of warm-up.

Let me kno what you find out from service.

Checked with engineeriing and repair and this is a first. We should get it back and have a look at it for you.

I'm having the same problem that my processor is resetting. Over the course of a couple of weeks, I've contacted Tech Support three times but I haven't gotten a response back.

Doe anyone know how to resolve the problem?
