I recently made a couple of speakers with the M130X and some Peerless Tweeters that I had laying around.  At first, I didn't like the sound of the M130X's.  They were muddy before they broke in, but after a few weeks of use I noticed that everything sounded off so I re-worked the active crossover and EQ'd them to my room and it is so much better.  They are really clean and transparent.  They are easy to crossover because there is no top end break up.  I'm using a 2500Hz 2nd order crossover between the drivers.  I used a reasonable amount of EQ to compensate for the room (tile floors, windows and all sorts of other problems).  You can see the measurement before and after room EQ.  The subwoofer is a Dayton audio 10" sealed box that I made and it is really fast and clean.




The room has a missive bump at 40Hz and 80Hz.  The 40Hz sounds great so I left a lot of it.  It's fun with movies.  Otherwise, the frequency response is really flat for not having any sound treatment and using minimal EQ.  Please note that this frequency response is really zoomed in so it's probably a lot flatter than most.  The waterfall chart is showing 300-400ms for most of the room, until you get to the low end where it's much more alive.

Very cool!  Yeah those are nice drivers. 

One suggestion I'd have for future builds - when you have a tweeter that small, it's a good opportunity to try to mount it as close to the midrange as possible.  It might not improve your on-axis response, but it almost certainly will improve off-axis.  Vertical in particular.

The M130 drivers are possibly the easiest driver to successfully crossover to a tweeter in a two way speaker.  They don't require many parts, nothing to fight in the upper registers, and an overall musical and detailed speaker. 
One of these days, I'll use a pair with some older BG Neo 3's that I've got stored.  That should make a very detailed speaker to go with a servo sub. 
And as Tyson mentioned, next time put that tweeter closer to the woofer. It's not a big deal, but it takes no more effort than putting it at the top of the cabinet.

The reason I mounted them where I did was because the spacing is 5.4" center to center.  This should correlate with the 2500Hz crossover point.  Do you think mounting them closer together would necessitate a higher crossover point or does the spacing distance matter less to the crossover frequency than it does to off axis response?

I love the looks of those.  I am currently building some 3 way boxes with the BG tweeters and I have some of the GRS planar for testing.  I definitely like the sound of Planars and Ribbons much more than Dome Tweeters.  I might make a different box with the M130X's and the GRS Planar Tweeters.
