My friend has an older Phillips 867 turntable that needs some repair. Cables need replacing. Is this something that can be done easily? Access and connections easy to solder? I was thinking about replacing the belt and cartridge. Where might I find a replacement belt? What else should be done to get this up and running properly? I appreciate any expertise.

Vinyl Engine shows service manuals for the 877 which looks very similar, no listing for the 867.
LP Gear has the AF 867 belt listed for $20.
