Checking with the larger community for any recommendations or experiences with choosing a new stylus on a vintage Marantz 6300 TT

Any feedback appreciated

I would look for a medium compliance cartridge to low compliance.  The tone arm with the headshell is heavy.  What is your budget?

A Nagaoka MP110, 150 or 200 would work as they are medium compliance, but a low compliance cartridge may work better.  Also look at a Denon DL110.  I have a Thorens TD-145 vintage 1970's TT and use a Nagaoka MP-200.
