Selling an almost new Lance Cochrane 6L6 Push-Pull amplifier. I've got less than 100hrs on this beautiful looking and sounding amplifier. This amp was built this year by Lance Cochrane and I purchased it a couple months ago for $1800+shipping. It comes with a matched quad of The Tube Store Preferred Series 6L6GC, matched pair of Northern Electric 12AU7 and a USA made 5U4GB rectifier. This particular unit uses a Conn organ chassis and transformers that were brand new (unused) when Lance built this amp. He had found a very rare and unique un-built amplifier chassis with the iron mounted to it, but it was never wired up or used. This amp is absolutely fantastic sounding. I put it against my hotrodded Nakamichi TA3A which has been my reference until now. It easily beats the Nakamichi and adds a great tube sweetness to the sound which is just fantastic. It also beat my restored and upgraded McIntosh MC250 as well. Lance rated this amp at 35wpc @ 8ohms. Don't let the somewhat pedestrian looks fool you, this is a very bold and capable sounding amplifier that will be at home in any reference stereo. Yes, I do believe it's reference level sound. Check out what the guy at Glow In The Dark Audio has to say about his own Lance amp.  This amp looks much better than the photos seem to show.  In natural light it's a gorgeous orange/red color. Per Lance, this amp can run 6L6, KT66 and 5881 output tubes.
