Hi, met name is Robert.
After building an Elekit tu-8800 I'm looking for more sensitive and tubefriendly speakers than my ls-50's. I know, probably wrong order.
I listen practically nearfield, about 1.6m from each speaker.
Interested in the CAM.

Hi Robert,
I have CAMs driven by a Decware SE84UFO2 (2.3 watts/channel). It's a desktop setup (I have a large desk) and the combination is wonderful.

Thanks Michael,
Was wondering if you use a lot of toe-in in that situation, and how is the soundstage? I'm worried that if I have to use a lot of toe-in to get a stable soundstage, there might be shoutiness in the midrange.

My desk is pulled from the wall so the speaker fronts are nearly 24" away from the wall. They are toed in but not pointing directly at me. I'm still experimenting with that, but mostly just listening since the sound is great. Soundstage is very good, but could likely be better if there was no huge 32" monitor between the speakers.
