You need to ground the TT to the preamp.  If the hum persists, it could be an issue with the wiring within the TT.

That took care of the issue! Thank you.  :thumb: The piano sounds good!

This is my first vinyl experience <in my system> in 6(?) years. The volume is at the 37 mark on my preamp. The usual setting is 14 to 17 when I play CDs or stream Tidal.

This has the potential to become a rabbit hole adventure! Not counting the vinyl purchases I made a couple years ago, I think I've got less than $200 into this. <$200 gives me 'pretty good'. I wonder what I could acheive with $1000 or $2000? Better yet, I wonder what a used TT/cart/stylus for <$500 would do. Do I even want to go there? Hmm. I need to ponder this.
