Hello everyone - I came here/found this place in order to inquire about an item listed for sale but I think that this will actually be a great resource.
My system has an Yamaha HTR-6090 840w, 7.1 receiver as it's central component. It was actually an ebay buy many years ago that was listed as broken. A firmware upgrade brought it back to life and it has served me very well ever since. I will likely be upgrading soon as I have discovered it is incompatible with the nvidia android shield TV device. Apparently the shield cannot send audio backward compatible enough for it to recognize audio via HDMI
I have 4 JBL CF-150s that I have had for 25 plus years and I need to replace the tweeters on two of them. My main front speakers are Polk Audio RTIA9 speakers that were actually pawn shop finds.
I use an Eiki EIP-5000 5,200 lumen projector for video
I have some questions about HDMI audio splitters (my attempted work-around) and tweeter replacements for the JBLs and will try to post them in the appropriate places
