Heres a strong "MATCHED" pair of Arcturus 71a tubes. I bought these as a strong matched pair. I have no way to test them other than to listen in my amp. They sound great and balanced side to side. I dare say this may be the last MATCHED pair you will see for a very LONG Time. Bases are tight and they are completely identical in construction.
I am quite OCD, when I listen to music I like to be comfortable with nothing nagging on me. When I use expensive tubes I am constantly worried about what can happen. I bought these, Played them for about 1 hour. Removed them and stored them away. My Oliver Sayes amp puts very little stress on the 71a power tubes. You can actually touch the tubes with the amp in use. they stay barely warm to the touch
