FS/FT is a custom built single ended class A MOSFET "MOFO" (mosfet follower) amplifier by J&K. Asking $450 firm, buyer pays shipping.
I am the second owner, MINT condition, I don't think there's a scratch on it, very low hours. The original owner had this built for horns but preferred SET and this sat in his closet, apparently. I rotate several amps, too. This has LEDs on the rear to show bias (set at 2V by J&K and it's been rock solid). You can adjust bias with trimpots on the boards up to 2.5V if you want, I never did). Prefer to sell but I'll also consider all trades, esp. for tube or SS integrated or power amps, even partials where I add $$$.
This runs just warm, not hot, plenty of heat sinking for 25WPC. So no worries about longevity. Standard BOM parts were used, which are very good quality. This has ONE active MOSFET, just one, per channel. It's both wickedly full and smooth, but also resolving, like the best SET, and with the ability to drive standard speakers no problem, very high damping factor (it does use GNB).
This was designed by Mike Rothacher and is a very popular amp build on DIYaudio.com. You can even buy boards for it. One of the links below shows the actual build by J&K, who apparently made a batch of these (they normally specialize in tube gear and specialty tube parts). You can email them (as I did numerous times, good people).

I am firm on price and buyer pays shipping, which will be around $150. Still overall a steal for the money with shipping. A Firstwatt clone from DIYaudio.com and will cost $700 MINIMUM with standard parts. This amp is every bit as good as any Firstwatt clone in my experience. Different flavors, sure, but this is a very unique sounding amp. If you ever wanted to know what good SET is all about and with conventional dynamic speakers, this is your amp.
Reluctant sale but thinning out the herd. No box, sadly.
