I am selling my prized pair of ZenWave Audio SMSG 17 speaker cables. These were built by Dave and were his previous top of the line speaker cables. The cables have white cotton jacketing, are 48" in length from connector to connector, and are 51.5" from tip of connector to tip of connector.
Terminations on the cables include Furutech FT-211 (G) low mass, 24K gold plated spades on one end and Furutech FT-212 (G) low mass, 24K gold plated bananas on the other end. The cables are in excellent physical and operating condition. I'd give them an Audiogon rating of 8 out of 10 due to age. Some small scuffing on the spades and bananas.
These cables are made with multiple strands of Dave's custom UPOCC Silver/Gold alloy wire in a litz configuration, and are intended for systems requiring a reference-level cable. This results in a cable with exceptionally realistic tone, dynamics, and harmonics. It is a 17g cable which is suitable for most average speakers. The increased conductivity of the UPOCC conductors mean heavier gauge wire is not necessary to achieve the best performance possible.
