This is the perfect companion to the Super KT Push Pull Monoblocks I have for sale.

I purchased directly from Aric who is a super guy and always ready to answer questions.

It has an all film cap power supply and Miflex KPCU-01 copper film for coupling caps.

There are a couple of scuffs here and there and a small ding on the bottom of the right side. You need to turn it over to see it. As you can see from the pics, it looks great.

Tubes are a pair of RCA OD3, an RCA 5U4GB, and a pair of Sylvania 6SN7 GTB chrome domes.

Comes with remote, power cord and umbilical.

Any thoughts on differences between this and the Don Sachs?  I know you owned one previously.  Also, did you ever have or hear a TRL Dude?  If so, would be very curious your thoughts about comparisons there.

I had the Don Sachs preamp a while ago so difficult to remember and especially because the rest of my gear was different. What I can say is the Motherlode ll sounds more like a tube pre than the Don Sachs did. That's not to say it's blubbery and rolled off. Vocals are more engaging and the stage is wider and deeper. I also believe the Aric pre is more dynamic which may be attributable to the massive separate power supply. The Motherlode ll with the Super KT Push Pull monoblocks on my 96db 1 watt at 1 meter speakers was dead quiet. I could hear no noise with my ear to the tweeter.

I have not heard the TRL Dude.

Thanks!  Sounds like a wonderful pre, and I would strongly consider giving it a try if I hadn't downsized homes recently and without good listening room.  GLWS
