New to Audio Circle - Waco, TX
« on: 25 Nov 2021, 01:51 pm »
Hi everyone -

I've been looking at GR Research's speakers for close to a year now and if crypto will bounce back, I'll be getting a NICE system. I don't know anything about being an audiophile but I did listen to some incredible speakers of a friend of mine two years ago and experienced sound stage for the first time.

Right now, my sound set up is two Apple Homepods.

So yeah, I have a lot to learn... receiver...DAC...cords... I need to learn it all.
Looking forward to digging in!

  • To whom more was given more will be required.
    • Never go to a psychiatrist, adopt a straycat or dog. On the street they live only two years average.

Welcome!

I can see the draw to GR based on your location.  What's your budget?  What's your favorite musical genres?  What's your audio tastes like?  What's your intended listening room like?  Buy loudspeakers first that match the above questions, then shop for the best power amp to mate with them.  Are you interested in vinyl or going straight into digital?
