hey guys

been digging through my stuff and found a pair of strata mini crossovers, and a pair of X-LS crossovers WITH tweeters.
is this stuff worth anything at all or should i bin it?

Which tweeters? Depending on the parts, you can take them apart and sell.

They aren't generally worth much $, but others may be able to use them.
If its not worth the effort to sell, I place ads here for that kind of stuff, for free plus shipping. Usually someone is happy to own it, and it keeps it out of the landfills.

If they’re not worth anything to you, I’d take them off your hands for the price of shipping! Not sure I’d use them anytime soon necessarily. But before you throw them away send me a PM. Maybe someone would pay you a few bucks for them, so I’d wait a bit before tossing them/sending them to me (if you want to take the time - no worries if you don’t!) OR if you do give them up for the price of shipping and someone else really wants them… I won’t stand in their way! Others deserve to hear the GR sound - I’m already well on my way!

Many loudspeakers use the same freq cut what allow use a old similar xover.

I could use some cheap or free crossovers. I have a couple pair of cheap speakers that could use a re-freshening.

Crossovers are specific to the speakers that they are designed for. The only way to use them with other designs is to strip the parts from them and re-use some of the parts.

These speakers are not worth enough for expensive crossovers. Just trying to get them to function again.
