I want to buy a few replacement bulbs for my 2 Stratos amps. I've found the bulb online, for $1 to $3. It's a 120BM bulb, but it's available in both a 3 Watt & 6 Watt version. The bulbs in my amps don't seem to have any designation on them other than the 120BM so I can't determine which version they are, 3 or 6 Watt. Does anyone know which version should be used with the Stratos Amp?

Sorry, I don't know the answer to your question,  but you could upgrade the lights to LED (Klause now uses LED lights).   I don't know how easy/difficult that is, or the cost, but I do know they would probably never burn out.

Don't know about burn never burn out, mine burned out in less than 60hours....LEDs

Yes,  definitely switch to the LED's,  and while we're at it,  get the cables and power supply updated,  for all units that are pre-2002  for sure.

As for the LED's,  there are a few amps out there which have apparently some problems with premature burn-outs.  Since we learned of the so-so quality with the LED's,  we changed the marque and also switched to a more "secure"  voltage.

Yes, I understand that upgrading to the LEDs would be the ultimate solution but were talking about a burned out light bulb here. I don't want to upgrade the two amps at this time just because a bulb in the face plate is burned out. I will upgrade eventually but I just want to replace the bulb at this time. I have found a source for the bulbs online but they come in both 3 watt & 6 watt versions. Which version is used in the Stratos?

I'm confussed! Is Klaus suggesting he will replace all of the above for the same cost as a $3 bulb???     If that's the case, I'll be first in line to send my monos to him.

I too would like to know the answer to the original question as two of four bulbs are out in my monos.

Yes,  120 MB's are correct.  I'll have to get with the former distributor to see,  since we haven't used them in years.  Anyway,  call me and I'll get some for you,
