Vintage 3b question
« on: 19 Nov 2021, 06:58 pm »
Hi.  I recently acquired a vintage Bryston 3b wtih XLR and 1/4" phone jacks, no RCA.    It was an insane deal.

I look forward to trying it out, but I was wondering if the 1/4" jacks are balanced (TRS) or unbalanced (TR).

I'm making my own cables once I get the parts to go from RCA preamp out to the 1/4" phone jacks.

I am going to guess the 1/4" are balanced as well. If you drop by a music shop that sells instruments/PA equipment , they would likely have  RCA to 1/4" cables or adapters.
