What's the scoop on it?  What are some of the specs and price?  Any pictures out there?

Whatzit?  Powered by the long-awaited digital amp?  Something that might improve the lowest pipe-organ pedals as well as the HT shoot-em-up?  Something to spend surplus funds on, come August?

Internal plate amp.  Yes, it might improve the lowest pipe-organ pedals and for that huge explosion in a shoot-em-up and yes to spend surplus funds.  This system doubles as an HT for me, so I wanted the sub for explosions only.  I will be using the LFE out on my HT Processor, not for 2 channel through my pre-amp.

Hi Pugs:

The picture of the sub from Klaus is mine.  If you go back in Odyssey posts to December 28th, 2004, look for my post titled "Epihpanies Upgraded to Nightengales".  There you will find some info I posted on this sub.

Yours,

rklein

To be honest,  I'll have to do some more matching with the subs,  but I can tell you that I'm very,  very happy with the results so far.  Alain did great .
Right now,  we'll be doing 2 models only,  $ 750.  and a $1,295.  remote controlled version,  10 or 12 ",  your choice.  The remote is the single best option for a sub,  period.  It's amazing how much easier it makes life for you when adjusting the intensity,  and how much more enjoyable movies become with the right settings.  Not being a videophile,  I have to admit that it is indeed a great and addictive addition to my vid  system.

Late,

Klaus
