This was among the last modified by John Tucker and sold from Underwood Audio back around January 2014. 150wpc into 8ohms and 300wpc into 4ohms. This 78lb beast is massively overbuilt. A tube hybrid with a pair of 6922 tubes in the preamp section. Very simple design, no balance/tone. Just volume and input. Comes with original box/packaging, metal remote, manual, etc.
Asking $1700. This is a very large/heavy box that would be very expensive to ship. I'd prefer a local sale from zip code 30127 (Atlanta Metro). Local buyer will also get my stash of more than a dozen tubes including some Soviet era military tubes, and some Japanese/Matsushita tubes. I would also consider meeting somewhere within a 2hr drive from my location.
If you want to consider shipping, the package will come in at 95lbs measuring about 24"x23"x15" outbound from 30127 and insured for full value. Very good condition, non-smoking home. A very conservative rating of 7/10 on audiogon scale. There is a tiny scuff on the left side of the front panel, and a couple small scuff/scratches on the top panel. Neither are noticeable in typical indoor lighting. I used the flash to try and make them stand out more. Actual photos below. I can send more if requested.
