Anybody moved from a Pi to a BDP 2? I primarily use the Pi as a Roons end point but sometimes switch back and listen to MPD. Source is modest storage on a flash drive and A BOT-1. One of the things that irritates me is the BOT will lose connection to MM and I have to reboot and unplug and blah blah... Sent the BOT into Bryston and it checked out OK. Maybe the problem is with my Pi?
I saw a used BDP 2 for $1.5K with the upgraded sound card and other 2s are available for same price. Is the circuitry in a 2 that much more superior than the pi to make it worth the jump?
Again don't have much of a stored library so streaming is the primary source.
