yeah i have a pic. i picked these up from an ebay auction a couple months ago. i really enjoy the LS center but i have not opened it up yet to see whats in it. im assuming top notch crossover and hardware since it was a kit only

I actually know the Ebay sale you bought those off of.  I tried to buy the A/V1RS's in Rosewood off that auction for weeks.  It never met reserve then he took them down or sold them.  Idk...

I have the same exact rosewood LS-6's and LS-C right now.  I'm working on pricing out the max XO for the LS-6's.  I need to open up my LS-C too so I can see what parts I want to upgrade.  I also don't know if or what bypass caps the previous owner used on the LS-C.

Those look shockingly close to the Swan 2.1se speakers in khaya crotch veneer.  Super pretty speakers.

Ahhh ok. Those are pretty speakers. Always liked those and wanted to get a pair of 2.1se’s in that color with tbr ninja mods back in the day.

Bringing this one back from the dead as i have updates!

So I finally got around to ordering all crossover parts now that supply is a little better.  I am doing full point-to-point XO's for all speakers.  I also cracked open my LS-C to see what options were used by the original purchaser and was pleasantly surprised to find Sonicap platinum bypasses on the tweeter circuit!  No wonder the center sounds so good!

So here's what I went with.

LS-6
Copper foil inductors all around on all circuits
Upgraded Iron Core Inductor
Sonicaps all around other than the few noted Polycaps
Solen Polycaps where noted
Path Audio Resistors other than noted
Mills Resistors for the bass management and bundled resistors
Sonicap platinums for Tweeter circuit to match the center
No-Rez installed already
Upgraded wire will be bought/installed once I call Danny
Tube Connectors will be ordered

LS-C
Replacing Air Core with Copper Foil Inductors (original owner had red wire inductors)
Sonicaps already in speaker and will be reused
Path Audio Resistors other than noted
Mills Resistors for bundle
Keep Sonicap Platinums
Already has upgraded speaker wire from Danny... will reuse where applicable and use new as needed
No-Rez and Tube Connectors already installed

Another super cool thing I unexpectedly found.... I opened up the AV123 speakers and they already had No-Rez installed!  Saves me a nice chunk of money.  I do remember vaguely that at times they were using No-Rez instead of some other stuff when they ran out of it.  I must have gotten lucky and got a pair with No-Rez already.

I can't wait to get everything and send off to Elon for assembly!

Thanks,
Robert

I saw a pair that popped up for sale recently, but decided to pass because it was one of the last ones AV123 sold and did not have any no-rez.

Keep us posted on this project, this set up in on my radar.
