This is the legendary flagship turntable from the original version of Well Tempered Audio. This has all the upgrades in it, including the fountain head plinth which weighs 65 pounds, the carbon fiber Reference tone arm, and the damped black platter. Vinyl afficianados always knew the Well Tempered reference was a high performance turntable, but it was extremely expensive when offered new, and most people would not spring for the cost of the table. This is a rare animal these days, but given the cost of vinyl playback now, the WTR offers an uncommon value. Originally sold for $5500 and still command a price tag of over $3000.

Sell for $1900 plus shipping

This one has the factory dust cover, and will ship in two boxes, one for the table and one for the dust cover. The fluids will have to be drained, so while you are waiting for shipping order new ones online.
This table does not come with the factory record clamp, but I do have a reflex type clamp that I can include. Secondly I do not have the factory protractor, as I always used a Feikert to set up cartridges. The tone arm rest is typically attached to the surface with an epoxy or a type of superglue. It came to me removed, and I used a bit of blue tak to keep it in place, you may want to permanently attach it, I saw no need to do so. Finally there are some very very light scratches on the back corner from the dust cover, they will not photograph and you can polish them out if you wish. All in all it is a beautiful table.

I just have too many turntables and not enough room. While I have delayed on selling this one cause I really appreciate it, I need the room so this one should have a new owner who will regularly use it and cherish it.

Local pick up is preferred zip code 99320. That way fluids do no have to be drained. I can ship but buyer pays shipping costs. Its a deceptively heavy turntable, its going to cost a few bucks.
