We are doing it y'all.

We are now offering completed speakers and just in time for the holidays.

We have Joe who does all the power and speaker cables putting together the crossovers and final assembly.

We are offering them in all the veneer options we are offering on our finished cabinets.

So that adds up to a Danny approved, hand wired, hand assembled, right here in north Texas, pair of loudspeakers that will compete with anything at this price range.

These are made on demand! So get your orders in ASAP if you'd like some by Christmas.

Been wanting to bridge this gap for along time and am super excited to start offering it.

Send me an email for custom veneer options as well. Pricing would just add the cost of the sheet of veneer you'd like to use. Lets do something special.

PS if all goes well, we will start offering completed speakers for everything we offer as finished cabs now. (which mostly means, speakers that we can ship reasonably...but includes the Single Sealed Servo Sub....)

I think I paid around $200 for my old AV123 versions.  Added about $300 in better parts and No Rez.  Now THAT was a bargain!

I think I have a total of about $1,100 in mine.  I had them built by a builder here some years ago and added upgraded crossovers later.

$1,500 turnkey for the upgraded model is a great deal.  It runs against the KEF LS50 Meta at the same price.  I would love to see how they compare head to head.  I have a local KEF dealer but am a little hesitant to ask to bring my own speakers in to compare.

This is great! I'm sure they'll be a hit!

I know the KEF model has been mentioned, but I'm really curious how these would stack against Ascend Acoustic Sierra II speakers. They're about the same price (Encores fully upgraded). I would imagine the non upgraded version of the Encores would probably be close competition, and would probably still win out, in addition to being $500 less.

Man, I really want to send my Sierras to Danny to check out and make an upgrade crossover for. They measure nearly as good as anything I've seen, and there wasn't much competition for them (IMO) in the price range - Okay yes. ALOT of speakers in that range, but not much that impressed me... oh how the tables have turned! 8)

Also curious how these would stack up against those Tyler Acoustics Danny just did a video on.

Regardless, this is what you guys needed to do! :thumb: Keep it up!

The new Tyler acoustics speaker will be very similar to the fully upgraded X-LS, but with a better vertical off-axis response.

Ty does some fantastic cabinetry work.
The prototype he sent before that one was a really cool design. Sadly I dont have a picture.

Awesome!    :thumb:

Side note, Killian, please consider doing your A/V-1RS cabinets as mirrored pairs.   :D

Roscoe65,

I owned the KEF LS50s and told my wife - "these are the best speakers ever, won't need any new ones ever again."  Then I built the Encores (all upgrades included).  Before the Encores were broken in the KEFs were already behind.  After break in, the KEFs were no match at all.  They weren't enjoyable to listen to after spending time with the Encores and hearing all the details and sound stage that was just not present in the KEFs.

You reference the meta version of the LS50s.  The comparisons I have seen show the meta update is not really noticeable against the original model.  The technology is cool, no doubt.  My experience going back and forth from LS50 to Encore resulted in the "best speakers ever" getting sold and me eating some crow.  My wife likes to give me a hard time about this every once in a while.  Fair enough.

If you do take them to the KEF dealer for a comparison, I am curious what your thoughts are on the comparison.

Someone should see if Steve Guttenberg would be interested in hearing fully upgraded X-LS.  He really likes the LS50.

Would be fun to get some of these out there and into folks hands. I'm curious how they compare.

One thing we can say that....almost no one else can (especially at this price point), is that these speakers, cabinets and all, are made right here. You can call up and talk to Joe or I about your exact speakers. We are going to date and serial number them, because we take pride in putting these together.

Going to get the Bravos up for sale on the website soon as well. Already took a phone order for them even!

Thanks everybody.
