Hello, I’m looking at purchasing a used BP26 that has the onboard DAC. I don’t need the onboard dac and would rather have the mono switch (for mono vinyl recordings) that is not available due to the presence of the DAC. Can the DAC be removed and mono switch added back?

I believe that can be done but you may need a new faceplate as well.
