Making a comeback
« on: 12 Oct 2021, 02:33 am »
Long time audiophile of 25+ years. Had to sell my system and give the associated listening room to my daughter for her studies. I'll be an empty nester again in a few years so I'm planning to re-enter this madness on a much more modest level. I'm a low wattage SET man. Thanks.

  • To whom more was given more will be required.
    • Never go to a psychiatrist, adopt a straycat or dog. On the street they live only two years average.

Welcome!

What a loving sacrifice to make.  Hope your plans work out.

When I got remarried had a similar situation as I gained a wife and 3 boys.  The stereo system and dining room got moved into the living room.  But five years later we moved into a new house where I got to build a dedicated listening room.

Thank you, watching the little ones grow is one of life's greatest pleasures! It was well worth it, she was accepted into the top 3rd High School in the US and I couldn't be prouder of her. Fortunately I hung onto my records so a near field vinyl setup will be in my future.
