From the moment you take this out of the box you will fall head over heels at the unequaled beauty of this soon to be a Legend amplifier. Gorgeous is the best description. Alex Yeung the designer and his beautiful wife Olivia ( architectural engineer ) , I know she had a hand in the overall look just because it has a flow of a womens graceful touch that seduces upon a first glance.
Be prepared to use the handles as the transformers are huge(but hidden) and the quality of these beasts add significant weight to this elegant piece of 60lbs.
How does it sound you ask? It is the best I have ever heard and to prove it we offer a 7 day money back guarantee that if you don't agree after 2 days of an audition I will gladly reimburse your money back. We are that confident.
24 watts per channel running in pure Class A pentode mode. Remote controlled, switchable from the remote from pentode to Ultra Linear mode ( 18 watts per channel). 4 inputs, tape loop also so you can run your sub out of this if you must, pre-in jacks in case you want to use your MiniMax preamp as the preamp and just use the amplifier section.
Guys, trust me on this one. This is the one !  Bar none.
Give me a call at 847-255-1150 or email at: bill@morningstaraudio.com

Photos are on the website but they truly don't do justice to this piece.
Price: $1800

This truly is a stunningly beautiful piece of equipment!

I will have this (and the Minimax phone pre and CD player) on display and playing at the Great Plains Audio Fest, www.greatplainsaudiofest.com, so anyone that is attending can see and hear this beauty!

Regards, I look forward to meeting some of you there.

I just got the integrated today... It sounds quite nice right out of the box.  I was surprised because most EE gear takes 100+ hours to start sounding 'right'...   I will be burning it in as long as I'm allowed... :)  I'm dying to get my upgraded speakers back now...

The DK vs. EE should be a good comparison.

I await your further report with interest as I am overseas and do not have the 7 day trial option. When will you be posting again?

    Thanx

I just received my upgraded X-718 speakers... I've been waiting for Response Audio to finish these for the full evaluation of the amp... All I can say is at this point... WOW... Emotion with detail....  Beautiful, enjoyable sound.

A full report will be coming on Sunday or Monday.... I'll be comparing the M520 to the DK Design vs1 mkII hybrid integrated.
