Philips Miniwatt Metal Base GZ34 ***ON HOLD***
« on: 6 Oct 2021, 07:06 pm »
Hi folks,

I am finally getting around to selling a variety of items that have been sitting on the shelf for too long.

Some of these are my cherished vaccum tubes.  I will have more listed including Siemens 6922 CCA gray plates and Amperex 7308 white labels plus lesser tubes.  I will add listings for those.

I am only listing these at Audio Circle as folks here seem to appreciate how nice some of these tubes are.  Items not selling will then go to the auction site.

First up, I have two Philips Miniwatt Metal Base GZ34 rectifiers.  I bought these circa 2008 and ran one for a while in my Modwright Transporter.  The metal base GZ34 transformed it. I tested the second gz34 in the Transporter and it was equally great.

I had these casually tested about 5 years ago and they were excellent.  They have not been used since.  I sold my tube gear about 8-9 years ago.

Since I have not had these formally tested, I am going to offer a return option them.  They will need to be back to USP within 2 business dan buyer just pays insured return shipping that comes to about $16.

Each tube is priced at $410.  I see them in ebay up to $850.

Paypal is fine for payment.  Shipping will be insured Prority Mail.

Here is tube 1 that comes with a box.  It appears to have double getters.  Inscritption looks TV1 56H.  As you can see, it was sold to me as NOS but who can tell, right?  I took phtos of several angles.

Here is tube 2 that was also represented as NOS, but no box.  Inscritption looks like TV2 57F.  Again, appears to be the double getter version.

Hi,

I am putting this listing on hold.  A major dealer is interested in my whole collection, so I want to see how that goes - so easy!

Thanks,

Jerry
