Cocci 6H6N Tube Preamp
Uses two 6H6N and one 12AU7.

Another piece of gear built by Charlie Cocci.  (Charlie makes 4--6 pieces of tube gear a year, most of which is bought up a small group of audiophiles.)  Typical of Charlie's work--this preamp has an oversize power supply and high quality components, including an Alps black attenuator.  Teflon-insulated wiring.  Cardas solder.

Three pairs of inputs, with heavy duty selector switch.  Two pairs of outputs. 

The preamp has a quiet background and nice voicing and tonality.  Optimal with tube power amps. 

Includes power cord with twist-lock connector. 

The chassis cover, which is not shown in the photos, is the same color as the chassis, and is in good condition.

Purely manual, though it looks as though it could be a motorized control.  It's a hulkin' big NOS McIntosh control -- I'm guessing that it was made by Alps.
