...Currently in a haze of smoke from numerous wildfires in the NW.

I've considered myself a "rational audiophile" since the late 70s.  No fancy speaker cables, in other words.  I've been running the same speakers, (Infinity Qb) turntable (Dual 501 ulm) and phono cartridge (Shure V15/V mr) since then, with an endless succession of other components.  Currently a Carver C4000 pre-amp and a couple of Pyle power amps strapped in mono for 1000W/channel.

I really miss the days when I could get Rolling Stone, Audio, Stereo Review, and High Fidelity stuffed into my college dorm mailbox every month.

Welcome tô AC, these paper magazines were not free as the current áudio sites and suffers from space restritions.
