Upgrades for the Analog ByPass for the SPxx
« on: 21 Mar 2005, 09:48 pm »
I currently own the SP-1, and I enjoy the analog bypass very much. With all the talk about the upgrades of the BP-26, what can I do to improve or take my SP-1 to the next level with the analog bypass.

Someone mentioned that I should update all my caps to Black Gates in my analog preamp stage for a sum of $600 including labor.

Is this the best bang for the buck? I listen to my SP-1 in 2-channel mode about 50% of the time, and boy is it really good. Can it get better?

My amp is a Bryston 6B-SST.
