It's not going to be the same, though, as I hear they've decided to tour as a geriatric Death Metal band.
Even so, I hope to be able to score some tickets!

The report I heard on the news said their "avatars" would be performing with live musicians at an upcoming concert in the UK. I don't know what the hell that's supposed to mean, other than they'll probably not be there in person.

ABBA was and still is very well constructed.....However.....at this stage in life i see them more clearly.........It's too girly for me over all.But the music itself is fantastic, it's just that I never did want a man after midnight as they sing!!

ABBA avatars have been performing for years at the ABBA Museum in Stockholm. The interactive museum has an auditorium where you can get on stage and perform with ABBA.

 :D now that's funny. Cougars come in all ages but Darkness is a great friend as we age.   Ha.
          And careful when listening to ABBA again,, they might spark up Abba-waves to the grey matter,, be very afraid.....  :D

I'm just surprised about the whole thing.
I thought they had one hit song and then went off to play Holiday Inns and state fairs but I guess they were a big deal.

I read they were offered $1B ( :o) some years back to do a big stadium tour and they turned it down.  Maybe they need the money more now or are bored? :lol:  Obviously I'm sure I've heard their music at some point over the years but off the top of my head I can't name anything they do.
