Hi guys from Scotland's capital
My interest in music (first) and hi-fi (second) started in the 60s when I had the good fortune to inherit what was a crackling system by the standards of the times. Thorens 124/SME 3012/Ortofon SPUGTE feeding Leak 12.1s and Tannoy Lancasters. Many permutations later, I now content myself with a NuPrime WR-1 feeding a pair of AVI 9.1s. I mostly stream from my laptop but occasionally, when I'm feeling nostalgic, wheel out my Rega Planar/RB250/Audio Technica combo. My musical tastes are mainly classical with a bit of R&B and traditional flung in. I'm looking forward to rubbing shoulders with guys who know what they're talking about and who are happy to share it. You're never too old to learn
