Just wondering if these are still available/if they will be again. Seems like such an interesting speaker.

Unfortunately there aren't any plans to bring back the Otica MTM.
And to my knowledge, we dont have any more full flatpacks available for them. I think we may have the front baffles and side wings still, but only one base left that would need to be mirrored to make a usable pair.

They also need subs that can play up to ~200Hz to fill out the bottom end.

We're also still out of The NQ drivers that are currently en route from India, so we're not expecting stock to arrive until Early-Mid September.

This is really too bad. When you think about it, the Otica MTMs, when combined with dual servo subs, are the Super 7s with different midrange drivers and work in all the same room situations the Super 7 does. Also, since it doesn't look like the Neo10 drivers for the Super 7 are going to be available anytime in the foreseeable future, the Otica MTM/servo sub could fill this niche.

Danny's main issue with the MTM is that it doesn't create a single coherent design. It's clearly 2 separate units.

Which is why Danny is working on 8" NQ woofers and the return of the 8" servo subs, to make a more coherent design that looks like the Otica, but with bigger drivers, and built-in servo subs.

I had the idea of calling it the "NXS" line with S meaning "Servo" since N already stands for "Neo". :P

That said, we don't have an official name yet.

Still plans for  a new NX-Otica with 8" drivers? I'll be in need 6 - 9 months from now.

The current plans have changed slightly, but thats still the plan  we have a prototype in development that will use the standard 6.5" NQ+ Neo3 but using the 8" servo subs.

The 8" NQ didnt quite pair as well visually as we had hoped, so we'll repurpose the  8" NQ for another future project.

Thanks for the update. I'll be interested to see what you come up with.
