Very nice condition with a very small ding on the top right of one speaker (came that way). According to MusicDirect they are about 2 years old as of now (I have the original add link and correspondence). I purchased them from Music Direct in Feb. 2021 and have hardly used them in my second system. The second system/audio room is an open plan dining room with an AC air handler 10' behind my chair along with kitchen noises/fridge etc... Living in Florida the AC runs more often than not.. The room just has too many distractions to fully enjoy these and I'm not going to have an active system there - just store equipment for use in my other room.
The finish is American walnut. This particular pair have the Air Layer tweeters on the side (with level control) as well as level controls for the front electrostatic panels. I haven't seen the electrostat level option too often on other resale z2.1A. These are fully powered - simply plug in a DAC with volume control or preamp and your ready to play - super easy. The built-in amp has 4 presets for bass level along with variable gain. I have the original shipping boxes. These came on a skid and I prefer to ship them that way for safety. Buyer will need to setup pickup. Local pickup preferred - exact shipping will be charged.
