Bump.
Not many people are familiar with Audio Design Associates but they have been around a long time. When THX was writing and testing for there wide bandwidth certification back in the '90s, they were using ADA amplifiers. ADA was the 1st manufacturer to offer Dolby Digital and DTS to the consumer market as well. They developed the first multi room audio system, the first to offer serial bi-directional control system for consumer electronics. They have been in the game longer than most, multiple industry awards for product of the year, design and innovation awards and owner Albert Langella was the first recipient of CEDIA lifetime achievement award.
This amp surprised me, I was using it to bi-amp my Gallo's and it performed better than I expected. High bias class A/AB design and it runs hot just like a true class A. It has a built in fan and was designed to be placed in a rack. The previous owner had it re-capped and I took it to my shop guy to be sure all was good. He actually went ahead and touched up the solder on the board since he had it apart. The next owner is getting a great quality amplifier that should provide years of enjoyment and a great price.
