FS: Audiosector Patek SE amplifier , I am the second owner

These rarely come up for sale on the 2nd hand market. The execution and quality of its construction has to be seen, synonymous with its "Patek" nomenclature. Its assembled like a fine watch with machined billet aluminum and copper chassis construction with Wenge hardwood side panels. The circuit itself is the ultimate realization of the "gainclone" concept utilizing the LA3875 amplifying device. Only one is used per channel incorporating both the driver and gain stage in a monolithic silicon chip.Black Gate Type N 100uF capacitors sit directly at the op-amps It is perhaps the simplest of amplifier circuits fully realizing the less is more school of audio engineering. The result is one of the most transparent and true-to-life sounding amplifiers I've owned. Within its power limits it has few solid state rivals that capture the texture and tonal density you get with tubes with extended frequency extremes you come to expect from solid state.
