correct, Its a great DAC, just clarifying you dont see them on the used market to often, plus you dont have to wait for shipping from singapore

Can't be sure about that.  Ads show asking prices, but we don't know actual transaction prices.  More often than not, they are different.

Yes, I believe shipping from Vinshine ( Denafrips) is free. So you would save a few bucks buying used and getting the unit much quicker. Warranty may no longer apply though, but I'm not sure. The positives are the Ares II punches well above its price point and is solidly built. If I were in the market, I certainly wouldn't be afraid to make an offer.
