My name is Pete Parise.
I’m a video editor by trade, but started out building and engineering a low-power FM station back in 1978. I’ve Been a sound mixer at church for over 20 yrs. but I’ve never really had a descent audio system at home. Thanks to GR-Research, I finally took the plunge with my first build, the X-LS Encore. I also ordered two of Passlabs ACA amplifiers to drive them. I finally finished the second Amp tonight and heard the system for the first time. Wow. I’m impressed with both the amps and the speakers. If you’re looking to get into an audio system you can build yourself, and sounds incredible, I recommend this diy path. Glad I took the plunge.
