Hello All, and greetings from Austin and Bentonville. I’m a long time reader, and first time poster.

Back in January of 2016 I purchased a set of Super 3i from Louis and have been using them daily since. What a fun speaker! Mainly with Dennis Had Inspire amps. An IFA-1 EL-94, and also a KT-88 Fire Bottle (specifically, “SE Stereo Tube Amplifier HO”). Upstream is all digital; Bel Canto DAC 3.5II and VBS, e.One Stream (as a Roon endpoint), and FM1.  Also, I have a Rythmik F12BM sub in the mix too.

Recently, I've added a First Watt J2 just to change things up. In the spirit of changing things up, I thought I should try another speaker from Louis’s lineup and after a bit of deliberation I ordered a set of CAMs.

All that said, I’ve been on the fence since placing the order and am considering a SAM, or one of the monitor HO setups.

Welcome! We are building in Austin-Bastrop right now and hope to be in within a couple of months. I am also a fan of Pass amps. I've constructed a Pass F5 and I'm building an F5 Turbo. I also built his B1 Korg preamp, and a couple of versions of his active crossovers. They are a great contrast to my main system Lyngdorf amplifier. When I get over there and have the new audio room set-up, I'll drop you a note. Maybe we can get together and swap audiophile tales.
