Hello from North Carolina. I've been a music lover stereo Hi-Fi guy for most of my life. Then covid struck about the same time that the plate amp in my B&W 605 S2's started acting up. After a bunch of trial and error fixes I sent it up to a repair shop in New Jersey just before Christmas 2020. I'd already been searching for replacement towers from Goldenear. After a lot of online searches, videos, and research I was ready to buy. Then I happened to catch a couple of Danny's videos on building the X-LS Encores. After reading reviews, watching the videos, and seeing how cheap they were I made the dive. Now I have completed the X-LS's, X-SLS towers, X-CS, and a couple of desktop models. I am not only hooked on the builds, but the quality of these speakers. I will hopefully post my builds soon.
