I have the same unit, it's great. Lately been using it on especially dirty records as I also have an Audio Desk ultrasonic. I tried "updating" the unit a few years ago when they came out with more suction on the PRC4 and the Loricraft guy talked me out of it saying it really wasn't necessary.
This is a screaming deal and whoever gets this will not be disappointed. No felt velour lips to worry about, the thread and vacuum do it all! Built like a truck and designed to last a lifetime.
