Always enjoyed and could appreciate good music and sound systems. I was spending more on door speakers, crossovers, etc. in my first vehicle while everyone else was throwing it all into the biggest subwoofer they could find. My step father was always into blasting the Eagles, Pink Floyd, Eric Clapton, etc. in our home and was probably a bit of an audiophile himself if he knew that term existed.
Fast-forward 20years to now where good quality music is one of the major "outs" i use to deflate and bring myself back to earth when times get hectic. I'm also an engineer(mechanical) and love to tinker with anything to try and improve it. One of the main things that brought me here as I wanted to learn about speaker design/etc so I could learn how to improve them. Looks like this is the perfect place to do so!
