I ordered a Sony XR-83A90J OLED TV that will be delivered soon. The TV is mounted on a Chief PD-RUB wall mount in the corner and I bought a Chief PACCC2 Center speaker mount that attaches to the frame of the Chief PD-RUB wall mount.
The TV in the picture is a Panasonic TC65VT30 Plasma. My A/V-2 weighs 28 LBS and the center speaker mount can handle 35LBS. Total weight of TV and speaker including all mounts is 149LBS. The Chief PD-RUB wall mount can handle 200 LBS so I am good to go there.
Just a few questions.
Should the front edge of the speaker( has 3/4" radius) be in front of the front edge of the TV and by how much? Right now I was thinking 3/4"?
Should I have a space between the TV and speaker and how far a distance? Right now I was thinking 2"?
This is what I have now. The speaker would be centered on the bottom of the TV and tilted up to match my ear level.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
